"Lift type" refers to the method used to expand your umbrella canopy from closed to open. There are four main lift types for Galtech Umbrellas.

  1. Crank Lift
  2. Manual Lift
  3. Easy Arm Lift
  4. Pulley Lift

Crank Lift

Rotate the crank on the side in a clockwise direction to open the umbrella. Rotate counter-clockwise to close.

Manual Lift

Manually raise the umbrella by pushing the hub upwards and locking it in place with the push pin fastener.

Easy Arm Lift

The Easy Lift Controller allows you to open and extend the main arm in one step, simply by lifting the handle.

Pulley Lift

Raise the umbrella by using the pulley cord and locking it in place with a push pin fastener.
